the concept of social responsibility is no longer limited to charitable and voluntary activity, but in fact it has become a broader and more comprehensive concept that includes solutions to the economic, social and environmental problems of societies. Moreover, sustainable development cannot be achieved in isolation from the close relationship between higher education, its institutions and society. Universities are essential as a pillar of society, as they play a pivotal role in raising awareness of social responsibility among their students, faculty and other employees, in a way that causes them to act as social personalities who defend collective perspectives and do not choose to embrace individual thinking. Accordingly, the current research paper aims to provide a conceptual framework that clarifies the role of social responsibility of universities in sustainable development, dealing with the concept of social responsibility and its various aspects. The paper presents a number of recommendations that ensure that universities are strengthened in the social responsibility that is expected to achieve and support sustainable development efforts. The programs provided as an example to Future University in Egypt must also meet social needs, instead of expressing a purely economic perspective, they should contribute to the sustainable development of the context in which the university operates.

this study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of morphological awareness training program in developing lexical richness among first-year English majors at the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Translation, Misr University for Science and Technology in terms of lexical density and variation. Quasi-experimental method was adopted with its pretest-posttest control group design. A training program on morphological awareness was developed to fulfill the purpose of the study. Sixty students participated in the study; ( 30 ) in the experimental group and (30) in the control group . The results pinpointed the effectiveness of morphological awareness training program in developing lexical richness among EFL majors in favor of the posttest of lexical density and variation among the experimental group students. The study recommended training teachers on morphological awareness to help their students develop their lexical richness.

the present study aims at investigating the effectiveness of a developed curriculum of food quality control in the light of scientific standards in developing the practices of food quality control and safety in hotels for students of technical secondary hotel schools. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher adopted one group quasi- experimental design. The study sample represents the experimental group who had pre-scale before the implementation of the program. The suggested curriculum was taught, and then a post- scale was applied to see how students are improved. Participants of the study were 22 female students of technical secondary hotel school in Minia enrolled in the first semester of the academic year 2019-2020. The study findings revealed that there were significant differences (0.01) (favoring the post-performance). Findings also revealed that the suggested curriculum has a large effect on students' achievement. Based on the above findings, the researcher recommended that developing curricula of technical education should include food safety topics and those curricula should be developed according to the market needs

This research aims to develop theatrical taste through the application of some theatrical activities to students of the third year, the French Language Division, Faculty of Education, Minia University. At the Faculty of Education, Minia University, then the researcher approached the theatrical entrance through which training is conducted to acquire these skills, then the researcher prepared research tools and the program based on those theatrical activities and applied that program in the first term of the academic year 2019-2020 and from Lal, the statistical analysis of the results, the researcher verified the positive impact of using theater activities in order to develop linguistic performance and theatrical taste

the purpose of the study was to build a proposed unit in the light of the standards of life applications of chemistry formulated by the (4MAT) model of McCarthy for second year secondary school students to measure its impact on the development of their attitude towards the study of chemistry. To achieve this, a list of standards of life applications of the content of chemistry curriculum at the secondary school level was prepared The “Industrial Chemistry” unit was prepared in the light of the list of standards formulated according to the McCarthy (4MAT) model. Instrument of the study is the scale of the attitudes towards studying chemistry. Participants (27 girls) were selected from 2nd year secondary school students in Beni Mazar, The semi-experimental one-group design was used to measure the effect of the independent variable "Industrial Chemistry" Unit in the light of the standards of life applications of the chemistry curriculum formulated according to the McCarthy (4MAT) model on the attitudes towards the study of chemistry. The results of the study indicated that there was a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the participants in the pre-post application in favor of post-application of the scale of the attitudes towards studying chemistry.

the aim of the present study was to investigate the effect of reflection-based workshops on developing the in-service EFL teachers' teaching writing processes. Subsidiary aims of the study include: ascertaining the EFL secondary teachers' perceptions of their writing processes. The study made use of both the interpretive constructivist mode of inquiry and the quasi-experimental research design. The instruments of the study were a writing processes checklist, an in-service EFL teachers’ perceptions of teaching writing processes questionnaire and their reaction on reflection-based workshops questionnaire . The sample of the study included 12 in-service EFL teachers at Al–Salhyia Directorate, Sharqyia Governorate. The reflection-based workshops addressed five main processes namely: prewriting, planning, drafting, editing and publishing Analysis of data indicated a positive impact of the reflection based workshops in developing in-service EFL teachers' perceptions of teaching writing processes and improved their reaction towards them. Findings of the study revealed a positive effect of the reflection-based workshops on developing in-service EFL teachers' teaching writing processes.

The curriculum of natural sciences, particularly physics, is among the most prominent sciences in the progress and prosperity of countries, and this leads us to argue that Physics is the real factor responsible for the progress in other natural sciences and their technological applications. Natural sciences curriculum has gone through many reform movements to keep pace with scientific and technological development, and "STEM" approach is considered one of the most important global movements and approaches in designing curriculum. Enriching the content of physics curriculum in light of "STEM" approach with activities aimed at developing science fiction among learners is one of the most important goals of scientific and technological progress in the future.
